Politics trivia!

Now that I have my finger on the pulse of the world thanks to my association with the hip folks at the Carillon, I have a trivia pre-cap for you. Wednesday, Oct. 1 is going to be Canadian politics night. A candidates' debate for the Wascana riding will take place, followed by trivia. Sadly, the bar is being de-licensed for the night so that 18-year-old voters, who for some bizarre reason can't drink in this province, can attend.

This is exceptionally exciting news for me, except for the fact that the chances are extremely good that I'll be holed up in a hospital bed with Trivia James at my side while this is occurring. If the baby hasn't appeared yet, I will SO be there. Maybe the geers would give us special permission to have phone contact if I happen to be in labour during trivia. Otherwise, though, I'm counting on you, trivia fans, to do us proud. Watch some Rick Mercer or Newsworld this week for me, will ya?
